Resolution Independent Cloth Sewing With Houdini

In this video I explore how to set up a cloth system where the pieces of cloth are stitched together using group names instead of hard coded picked points from the shelf tools. This allows the user to change the resolution of the cloth after the garment has been stitched together. This is a first attempt to emulate the Marvelous Designer pattern object. Being able to control the cloth resolution, after-the-fact, allows for quicker sim times up front and also allows you to dial in a hi-resolution setting when exporting your final garment. I explore some of the settings dealing with cloth characteristics and how to resolve initial cloth interpenetration that occur.
