Maya Liquid Rig Tutorial 2 Methods for Rigging
Here are a couple of different ways to make a simple animatable liquid rig in maya that doesn’t require liquid physics or dynamics. There are two methods shown: the first uses a cut plane that dynamically alters the geometry, while the other uses deformers, which will allow you to maintain a more detailed mesh (like bubbles or foam) and preserve your uvs. It also allows for the addition of extra controls.
